Director of Clinical Services Role:
In this role, you will oversee the clinical operations, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintain exceptional standards of patient care
Clinical Leadership:
Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the interdisciplinary team of nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and protocols in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the clinical team.
Patient Care Management:
Oversee the development and implementation of individualized care plans based on comprehensive assessments of patients' needs.
Ensure the provision of high-quality, evidence-based care that promotes patient safety, independence, and well-being.
Monitor patients' progress, evaluate outcomes, and make adjustments to care plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing home health services, including Medicare and Medicaid requirements.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Keep abreast of changes in regulations and industry standards and communicate updates to the clinical team.
Staff Development and Training:
Recruit, hire, and train clinical staff, ensuring that they have the knowledge, skills, and resources to provide exceptional patient care.
Provide ongoing education and professional development opportunities to enhance the clinical competency and expertise of the team.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support staff growth and development.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
Collaborate with other members of the leadership team, including the Executive Director and Business Development Manager, to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among clinical team members, physicians, and other healthcare providers involved in patient care.
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to coordinate care, discuss patient progress, and address any issues or concerns.
Director of Clinical Services Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
2+ years of clinical experience in healthcare setting; prior leadership experience preferred.
Strong understanding of regulations, reimbursement mechanisms, and clinical best practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a diverse team and foster a positive work environment.
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.
