Director of Business Office Operations
Our West Houston, TX client is looking to hire an Director of Business Office Operations to join their team on a direct hire basis.

Director of Business Office Operations Manager Role:
Responsible for leading and managing all revenue collection and billing for multiple states
Analyze and provide monthly reports 
Reports to and works closely with the VP of Revenue Cycle to oversee billing, coding, collections, front and back office operations, claim submissions, manual and auto posting functions, etc. 
Manage up to 3 Managers, train and mentor corporate staff of close to 15 support staff. 
Maintains, develops and updates a manual of standards to use company wide
Participates in the EMR steering committee to review and prioritize system enhancements
Member of the Compliance and Internal audit committee
Works with managed care department to identify payor trends and develop action plan
Sets monthly and annual revenue cycle performance goals
Responsible for hiring, training and terminating staff

Director of Business Office Operations Manager Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree is preferred
Must be analytical and be strong at process improvement
5+ years of experience in medical billing and collections with a strong emphasis on AR monitoring and management
Must have 5+ years of management experience
Prefer experience with physical, occupational or speech therapy billing practices
Will consider candidates with hospital experience that have been exposed to physical, occupational or speech therapy billing
Experience with Medical part A and part B, Medicaid and Workers Compensation payor requirement and processes
Strong working experience with Outlook, Word and intermediate to advanced skills in Excel
Familiarity with Sarbanes Oxley Compliance for publicly traded companies would be ideal
Experience with Waystar/ZirMed® Claims Clearinghouse software would be ideal
Experience with Raintree® practice management software would be ideal
