Our client just north of Dallas, Texas is hiring strong Director of Accounts Receivables to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Director of Accounts Receivable Role:
Sr. Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee and elevate all aspects of accounts receivable (AR) and revenue assurance.
In this leadership role, you will combine operational oversight with compliance and risk management to ensure accurate billing, collections, and revenue recognition.
You will also mentor and guide a talented team while collaborating across departments to maintain financial integrity and drive continuous improvement.
Your deep understanding of AR processes and your leadership skills will be key to maintaining an efficient and effective function.
Manage and support a high-performing team, promoting professional growth and excellence in AR and revenue assurance.
Oversee invoicing, cash application, collections, dispute resolution, and aging report analysis to ensure efficient, compliant operations.
Implement and maintain controls to prevent revenue leakage, ensuring compliance with revenue recognition standards (including ASC 606).
Identify areas for improvement, streamlining AR workflows to boost efficiency and mitigate risks.
Ensure accurate contract accounting and billing, ensuring timely invoicing in line with contractual milestones.
Build strong customer relationships to address billing issues, manage escalations, and ensure timely collections.
Oversee AR reporting, bad debt reserves, and provide revenue analysis and KPI reporting to management.
Support annual audits, ensuring revenue compliance, and provide data for tax preparation.
Ensure adherence to internal policies, accounting principles, and relevant regulations across all AR activities.
Partner with Sales, Finance, and Customer Support to address issues and streamline AR and revenue processes.
Take on additional tasks as needed to support team and organizational goals.
Director of Accounts Receivable Background Profile:
Bachelorâ degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
7+ years in AR or accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
Strong understanding of AR processes, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and GAAP compliance.
Expertise in billing software, ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics F&O), and advanced MS Excel.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team, fostering high performance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
Familiarity with the telecommunications industry and billing systems is a plus.
Ability to create and execute strategies aligned with company goals, ensuring robust revenue assurance.
Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies, risks, and opportunities for improvement using data-driven insights.
Excellent at building positive relationships with both customers and internal teams, enhancing collaboration and communication.
Exceptionally meticulous, ensuring accuracy and organization in all financial processes.
Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
Passionate about refining processes, adapting to new standards, and enhancing the overall revenue function.
