Our client in Nashville, TN is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist for an immediate contract-to-hire opportunity.

Overview of Desktop Support Specialist Role:
- Provide comprehensive support to employees for computer, network, and cell phone-related queries
- Manage helpdesk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and documentation
- Offer assistance with cell phone setup, troubleshooting, and support
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new users, including workstation and network/printer setup
- Deliver exchange and application support (e.g., Zoom, Box, internal applications) to all staff members
- Contribute to OU management, directory upkeep, and vendor coordination
- Document and update standard troubleshooting procedures
Desktop Support Specialist Background Profile:
- Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of experience in systems/window administration, or 5+ years in a help desk role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and O365/M365 administration (exchange and licensing)
- Experience with Windows and Windows server systems
- Familiarity with mobile device management and Azure Active Directory
- Skills in driver updates, printer additions, and domain computer integration
- Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Capability to troubleshoot NIC settings and VPN issues
