Dentist Role:
- Demonstrate compassion, effective communication, and proficiency in diagnosing and treating dental conditions
- Engage with patients to address dental concerns, conduct routine cleanings, and develop strategies for improved dental hygiene
- Perform various dental procedures including extractions, root canals, and cavity fillings
- Apply dental agents such as sealants and whiteners
- Prescribe medications for dental conditions, administer sedatives or anesthesia as needed
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, maintain detailed patient records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Dentist Background Profile:
- Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) or Dental Medicine (DMD)
- Valid state license and malpractice insurance
- Proficiency in computer applications and healthcare databases
- Strict adherence to local, state, and federal regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of dental procedures and diagnostic techniques
