Our busy and growing client in Dallas, TX is looking for a Dental Assistant on a contract to possible hire basis.

Dental Assistant Role:
As a dental assistant you will perform a variety of clinical and administrative duties in a dentist's office.
Escorting patients to exam rooms, preparing them for procedures, and taking their billing and insurance detailsÂ
Assisting dentists by helping with procedures like fillings, crowns, extractions, and cleanings, and making dental impressionsÂ
Taking and processing X-rays safelyÂ
Sterilizing dental tools and equipment, and passing dental instrumentsÂ
Post-procedure clean-up by suctioning excess saliva and responding to emergenciesÂ
Greeting patients, answering phones, and scheduling appointmentsÂ
Updating and maintaining patient dental recordsÂ
May assist with coding information for insurance purposesÂ
Advising patients on oral hygiene and providing instructions for proceduresÂ
Dental Assistant Background Profile:
DANB certification or ability to obtain certification
Must have a high school diploma or GED and completed a dental assistant program at a vocational school or community college
CPR Certification required
