Our very busy Austin Law Firm is seeking a 3-8 year Attorney with Personal Injury Defense, catastrophic injury and wrongful death experience. This firm values its employees and will set you up for success. Candidate must know litigation from intake to settlement.

Defense Personal Injury Litigation Attorney Role
3-8 years of experience in defense personal injury litigation
Candidate must have experience with catastrophic injury and wrongful death
Support attorneys and staff within the Commercial Litigation department
Draft Pleadings, Motions, Discovery, and a wide range of legal documents
Research and analyze relevant issues, laws, and regulations to assist in case strategy
Correspond with clients, opposing counsel and Courts
Legal research 
Analyze and summarize legal documents
Prepare complex cases in federal and state courts
Advise clients based on analysis of facts and applicable laws
Negotiate settlement terms with opposing party or counsel

Defense Personal Injury Litigation Attorney Background Profile
J.D. degree from an accredited Texas law school and in good standing
3-8 years of Litigation experience
3-8 years of Defense Personal injury, wrongful death and catastrophic cases
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong legal research and writing abilities
Excellent critical thinking skills.
Ability to work independently or on a team
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and communication skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with little oversight
Must be punctual and dependable
Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Above average proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
Strong time management and organizational skills
Candidate must be able to work independently as well as on a team
