Our client in Alpharetta, Georgia is in need of a Database Administrator on a direct hire basis. 

Company Profile:
Supply chain and logistics organization specializing in freight movement.

Database Administrator Role:
This role is responsible for configuring and managing the backend of the MercuryGate TMS, ensuring seamless functionality for front-end users.
Serve as the primary administrator for TMS solutions, overseeing user management, security settings, and role-based access controls.
Develop and distribute training materials and user documentation to support system adoption.
Diagnose and resolve system issues by performing in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Support carrier and customer onboarding by gathering requirements, assisting in design, and coordinating testing efforts.
Ensure that all system modifications and process updates are thoroughly tested and effectively communicated to the team.
Manage and maintain carrier and customer contracts and rate tables to facilitate diverse pricing strategies.

Database Administrator Background Profile:
Associates degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Technology; Bachelors degree is a plus.
5+ years of experience in the transportation industry.
2+ years of hands-on experience with a Transportation Management System. MercuryGate experience highly preferred. 
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
The ideal candidate thrives in an entrepreneurial setting, enjoys contributing to process and policy development, and excels in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
Basic project management capabilities with strong time management skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical mindset with a proven ability to solve complex problems.
Experience with MercuryGate Easy Click implementation is a plus.
Knowledge of MercuryGate's CARMA carrier management tool.
Familiarity with MercuryEdge and MOJO optimization tools.
Understanding of EDI and XML processes.
