Customer Service Representative
Leading Healthcare client in The Colony, TX is looking for a Customer Service Representative on a contract to possible hire basis.

Customer Service Representative Role:
The Customer Service Representative will handle calls from pharmacy members, providers or claim issues.
Answer questions and handle problem resolution for pharmacy benefit, provider or claim issues
Spend approximately 90% of time on phones, averaging 70-80 calls per day
Follow up with members, providers and pharmacies as needed
Seek approval for overrides and prior authorizations and enter into claims system upon approval
Maintain and update member records with accurate information obtained on the call
Monitor pharmacy claims processing
Other related duties as assigned
Customer Service Representative Background Profile:
Must be able to work an 8 hour shift between the hours of 8am-8pm M-F with rotating Saturdays 9am-3pm
High School Diploma or equivalent required
2+ years’ experience in pharmacy benefit management (PBM)
Certified Pharmacy Tech preferred
Experience handling medical benefit and claims inquiries preferred
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements
Strong PC Skills- Word and Excel required
Must possess a desire to help people
Respond well to a stressful, dynamic environment
Flexible, uses critical thinking skills and open to learning new ideas/skills
Team player with a positive attitude
