Our client located in Lewisville, Texas is looking to hire a Controller on direct hire basis.

Controller Role:
As the Controller and pivotal member of the leadership team, you will be instrumental in steering the financial and administrative operations of our Texas office.Â
Be the accounting team's subject matter expert on all accounting concepts, business strategies, and how it rolls together.
Tasked with enhancing the financial infrastructure, championing process improvements, and driving strategic growth initiatives.Â
Develop and implement financial strategies that align with our company’s objectives.
Controller will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, including corporate dashboards and monthly gross profit reports.
Question project overruns and the balancing of purchase orders.
Oversee cash flow and work to optimize working capital.
Supervise financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes.
Promote continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
Establish and maintain robust internal controls.
Oversee the implementation of the new ERP system (CMiC), aligning with our Illinois office.
Controller will lead and mentor the finance team to foster growth and development.
Identify and mitigate financial risks effectively.
Participate in a new software integration.Â
Ensure adherence to financial regulations and industry standards.
Oversee compliance with DBE/MBE/WBE requirements.
Controller Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree required; CPA preferred.
At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2 years in a leadership role.
Experience in the construction industry is advantageous but not essential.
Strong analytical, project management, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably CMiC.
