Compensation and Benefits Manager
Our client, located in NW Houston, TX is in need of a Compensation and Benefits Manager for a direct hire opportunity with a great organization.

Your Role:
Must have a good mix of analytical ability and doesn’ t mind being in the ‘ trenches.’

Benefits: 
Analyze benefits plans for participation levels, market competitiveness, and legal compliances; and making recommendations for changes
Administer benefits plans and ensuring that all enrollments are processed properly
Answer day to day questions related to benefits
Conduct new hire benefits enrollment
Plan annual benefits cycle (communicating with broker, preparing for and conducting benefits open enrollment, ensuring all file feeds are correct)
Ensure all benefits deductions are made appropriately from paychecks and that vendors are paid
Manage 401k, including committee

Compensation: 
Create and administering compensation guidelines
Monitor compensation structure to ensure market competitiveness
Develop annual merit increase guidelines
Develop sales commission plan / total comp is a plus
Work with the HR team and managers to ensure alignment

Payroll: 
Will have Payroll Administrator direct report
Ensures payroll is processed accurately and that the proper controls are being followed
Interfaces with Finance and Accounting to ensure employee deductions are properly identified, programs are working efficiently, and costs are properly collected and reported

Background Profile:
CEBS, CBP CCP or related certification preferred
Experience working with ADP WorkforceNow or Ceridian is a plus
Bachelor’ s degree in closely related field
5+ years of experience
