Clinical Director Role:
The Clinical Director will provide ongoing clinical direction, oversight, and coordination of services for all mental health-related clinical staff.
Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, expense accruals, and reconciliations for various accounts
Assist with creating and implementing the new hire training process and material
Provide initial training and orientation as well as on-going leadership and support to all members of the clinical department to ensure that they have the tools necessary to carry out their job responsibilities
Monitors clinical staff development needs and implement improvement strategies as needed with the Director's approval
Conduct scheduled audits on clinical staff notes to ensure the organization remains in regulation with state guidelines
Conduct face-to-face presentations with physician groups health centers, assisted living communities, etc.
Research and provide CEU opportunities for field staff
Oversee clinical staff's workload/ Manage caseload
Monitor compliance to legal guidelines, internal policies and quality standards
Remain current with knowledge, availability, and quality of community resources and individual profession trends
Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
Intervene as necessary on issues relating to client complaints, concerns and operational issues
Clinical Director Background Profile:
Master’s degree in social work or Counseling from an accredited four-year college or university
Minimum 2+ years of management experience
Fully licensed mental health professional LCSW/Psychologist licensed to practice in the state of Texas by the applicable professional board of examiners
Strong working knowledge of state requirements regulating mental health practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications, including Office Suite, Outlook, and Teams
Proficiency with TherapyNotes a plus
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to ensure all deadlines are met
High attention to detail and accuracy
