Civil or Structural Designer
Our established Dallas-Fort Worth Engineering client is looking to hire a full-time Civil or Structural Designer to join their team on a direct hire basis.

Civil or Structural Designer Role:
As a Civil or Structural Designer, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering and structural projects.
Develop detailed civil and structural designs for various projects, including buildings, bridges, roads, dams, and various infrastructure.
Utilize design software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, Bentley MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, to create 2D or 3D models, layouts, and drawings.
Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity, stability, and safety of design solutions.
Evaluate load requirements, seismic considerations, and other factors influencing structural performance.
Assist in site planning and layout design, including grading, drainage, utility placement, and earthwork calculations.
Incorporate site constraints, environmental considerations, and regulatory requirements into design solutions.

Ensure designs adhere to local building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards governing civil and structural engineering.
Civil or Structural Designer Background Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, degree not required with equivalent experience.
Proven experience in civil and structural design, preferably in consulting or construction environments.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, OpenRoads Designer, Bentley MicroStation, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of civil and structural engineering principles, codes, and standards.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings and documentation.
