Job Description
Our client, located in Moscow, Idaho, is looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to add to their healthcare team.

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Role:

As CFO, you will be overseeing the financial operations of the acute-care facility, encompassing accounting, budgeting, audits, tax matters, and other financial planning endeavors within the hospital organization.
Supervision of the Revenue Cycle.
Managing department heads and collaborating with system management to formulate and execute policies, procedures, short- and long-term goals, objectives, and strategies.
Providing financial guidance to hospital managers, directors, and officers, fostering support, instilling ownership of objectives, and promoting active involvement in decisions impacting the hospital.
Ensuring the hospital's compliance with essential financial regulations and standards.
Leveraging financial expertise to contribute to the planning of new services aimed at generating additional revenue streams.
Collaborating with the CEO and CNO to effectively manage costs through ongoing data analysis to identify opportunities and implement measures to eliminate non-value-added expenses.
Assessing areas for improvement and spearheading organization-wide performance enhancement initiatives.
Representing the hospital at various meetings, including those with the medical staff, board of directors, and relevant community gatherings as required.
Participating in monthly operational reviews and corporate office meetings.
Interaction with and presentations to the Board of Directors.
Chief Financial Officer Background Profile:
Masters level education and CPA preferred.
Previous CFO level or equivalent experience within a Critical Access Hospital environment is required.
Previous experience within a non-profit environment.
Minimum 5 years experience of financial/accounting progressive managerial experience in a Critical Access Hospital environment.
Experience with Revenue Cycle and track record of success required.
Demonstrated ability to cope with and manage change, and maintain relationships with emotional maturity and self-motivation.
Experience including strategic oversight with an emphasis on financial reporting analysis, expense and cash flow management.
Public relations abilities; Excellent verbal and listening skills.
