Bookkeeper/ Office Administrator Role:
The Bookkeeper/ Office Administrator is responsible for the preparation of financial statements (in collaboration with accountant),contract administration, accounts payable, billing, accounts receivable, and office operations.
Prepare financial reports to present to Accountant and Owner.
Coordinate with PEO on accounting functions including payroll and 401K.
Responsible for accounts payable, cost accounting, cash receipts, reimbursables, accounts receivable, and related accounting functions.
Participate in the preparation of budgets.
Maintains accounting of revenues and expenditures, processes requests for payment.
Oversee activities associated with assigned contracts, assists in contract administration and monitor compliance.
Order office supplies and act as liaison for facility vendors.
Bookkeeper/ Office Administrator Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting highly preferred
5+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
Experience working for a design or construction firm preferred.
Experience working with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
Knowledge of financial management, contract administration and budget development
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven analytical skills
