Bookkeeper Role:
The Bookkeeper will oversee a team of payroll and billing specialist, while managing a set of location financials
Manage and oversee your own set of location financials.
Supervise, train, and manage a bookkeeper team.
Record financial transactions, including cash payments, into the correct general ledger and verify their accuracy.
Maintain all financial records and process payroll.
Communicate regularly with the operating director for the locations assigned to you.
Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and provide consistent updates.
Review and input financial transactions into the correct ledger.
Process company payroll and weekly invoices.
Reconcile bank and other accounts.
Pay vendors on time as they become due.
Work through aged accounts receivables.
Handle wage garnishments, adjustments, and related tasks.
Process mileage billouts and send payments to the bank.
Manage journal entries and review payroll notes.
Review and input financial transactions into the correct ledger.
Bookkeeper Background Profile:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Experience in management, training, and supervision.
At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
Experience in payroll processing.
Experience with weekly invoices, billing cycles, month-end reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and invoicing clients.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
