Our client in Oklahoma City, OK has an immediate need for a Bookkeeper on contract to possible hire basis.

Bookkeeper Role:
The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in maintaining precise and up-to-date financial information. Your main responsibilities will include handling daily accounting activities, ensuring smooth financial operations, and providing key insights through financial reports.
Oversee daily financial activities, including data entry, account and bank reconciliations, as well as cash flow management.
Accurately record and classify financial transactions such as accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and other expenses.
Reconcile various financial documents (e.g., bank and credit card statements) to maintain accuracy.
Prepare and review financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Generate periodic financial summaries for management and contribute to budgeting and financial analysis.
Process invoices, payments, and receipts efficiently.
Monitor and manage accounts receivable and payable to ensure prompt payments and collections.
Manage vendor relationships, handle billing inquiries, and resolve discrepancies.
Process and manage payroll for up to 15 employees, including calculations and benefits administration using Insperity.
Maintain detailed and organized financial records for audit and tax purposes.
Utilize accounting software for various functions, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with other departments to offer financial insights and support.
Assist with financial audits and tax preparation by providing necessary documentation.
Prepare and submit monthly sales tax reports to the comptroller.
Bookkeeper Background Profile:
At least 3-5 years experience in bookkeeping or a related field in the oil and gas industry is highly preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
