Bookkeeper Role:
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting tasks, and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Manage all aspects of bookkeeping using QuickBooks, including data entry, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Record and classify financial transactions accurately in QuickBooks, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and expenses.
Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Generate and review financial reports and statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Prepare and submit periodic financial reports to management and assist in financial analysis and budgeting.
Process and track invoices, payments, and receipts.
Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure timely payments and collections.
Manage vendor relationships and handle billing inquiries and discrepancies.
Process employee payroll, including calculations of wages, deductions, and benefits, and ensure timely payments.
Maintain accurate payroll records and manage employee expense reimbursements.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations and standards.
Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation for auditing and tax purposes.
Utilize QuickBooks for all accounting functions, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Stay updated with QuickBooks updates and enhancements to ensure efficient use of the software.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support as needed.
Assist with financial audits and tax preparation by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Bookkeeper Background Profile:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, including proficiency in using its features for accounting and reporting.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Procore experience a plus
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
