Bilingual Tax Accountant Role:
The Bilingual Tax Accountant will prepare monthly and yearly tax and sales tax returns, ensuring their accuracy and timely submission, implementing tax benefits and promptly addressing any tax-related inquiries from team members
Preparation of monthly and annual tax returns, including sales tax, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Implementing tax benefits and addressing tax-related inquiries from team members promptly.
Managing detailed tax records in the system, ensuring precise journal entries for all company taxes.
Defining and processing necessary adjustments accurately.
Prompt preparation of monthly tax status reports to support auditing requirements.
Overseeing timely distribution of W-2 forms to employees.
Developing and executing tax strategies aligned with financial objectives.
Recommending enhancements to optimize international trade practices and preparing comprehensive reports as required.
Conducting thorough reconciliation of financial data between the system and tax accruals/payments.
Strict adherence to local, state, and federal reporting obligations for accurate tax filings.
Providing expert guidance on accounting and taxation practices, proposing system adjustments in line with governmental guidelines.
Handling various accounting tasks, including check preparation, budgeting, billing calculations, tax form preparation, document coding, and managing cyclical and year-end inventory processes.
Accurately inputting data into SAP system to ensure compliance with fiscal requirements and facilitate cost analysis and report preparation.
Serving as a key liaison with stakeholders such as local banks, CPA offices, payroll vendors, and regulatory bodies for timely compliance and reporting.
Preparation of precise tax cash forecasts crucial for financial planning.
Ensuring comprehensive compliance with tax regulations related to inventory destruction and leverage tax.
Supporting smooth financial audits by promptly addressing audit requests.
Performing meticulous reconciliation and analysis of tax accounts to maintain accurate records.
Collaborating effectively with the Intercompany team on tax compliance and Transfer Pricing regulations.
Acting as a professional representative in dealings with authorities.
Identifying and supporting tax automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Bilingual Tax Accountant Profile:
Degree in accounting is required, and an MBA is desirable.
Knowledge of tax regulations with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Accounting and Taxation.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal tax regulations.
Analytical skills to assess tax risks and provide strategic advice.
SAP experience preferred
Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining tax records.
Communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
Ability to propose and implement improvements to tax processes.
Experience with foreign trade practices and intercompany transactions is a plus.
to handle multiple tasks efficiently and meet strict deadlines.
Bilingual in Spanish is required.
