Bilingual HR Assistant Role:
Responsible for processing weekly payroll for assigned locations
Create time clock reports and send to managers for approval
Upload time to payroll system
Notify HR Director with necessary adjustments for insurance deductions
Responsible for weekly temp payroll/hours submission
Create time clock reports and send to managers for approval
Submit to temp agencies
Responsible for assisting online onboarding of new employees, as needed
Oversee completion of I-9 with appropriate manager
Direct deposit verification
Time clock set up
Vacation set up
Responsible for set up of new temp workers
Verify time clock set up
Update spreadsheets
Assist on the following tasks, based on assignment from the HR Director:
Assist with Health insurance enrollment
Explain options and assist with online enrollment monthly and during open enrollment
Work with plants to insure all eligible employees have completed enrollment process
Process assigned updates for all enrollments
Assist with COBRA administration
Update in required outside systems
Create and mail coverage termination notices as required
Assist with processing vacation requests
Confirm available vacation time
Add to time clock
Assist with processing wage increases
Complete form and update employee record
Assist with processing employee terminations
Complete form and update employee record
Send reports to HR Director on all terminations
Record and timestamp mail received and forward to HR Director
Maintain required records
Other HR related reports and assignments 


Bilingual HR Assistant Background Profile:
High School diploma or the equivalent
Some college work is preferred but not required
2+ years’ experience in Payroll Onboarding and termination processing
Bilingual in Spanish  required
Excellent data entry skills
Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, PDF
Proficient in digital file structure and file management
High degree of accuracy, attention to detail  
Strict adherence to confidentiality required
Effective organizational, stress, and time management skills
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to prioritize and manage workflow and expectations
Ability to work independently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with other people within the company
20-30% travel required annually
