Job Description

Our client located in Dallas, Texas has an immediate need for a HR Manager on a contract to hire basis and may consider direct hire for the right skill set.

HR Manager Role:
The HR Manager is directly responsible for the leadership of the human resource activities, implementing and overseeing HR programs that align with objectives set forth by management. 
Oversee recruitment, hiring, disciplinary, and termination process  
Lead new hire onboarding processes   
Provide guidance to managers on appropriate handling of employee matter 
Ensure employee actions conform to employee handbook and applicable laws
Interface directly with employees at all levels to answer questions, educate, and resolve issues
Monitor labor costs, recommending cost optimization solutions to management
Liaise with legal counsel and management to resolve employee legal matters
Maintain records in accordance with company, government requirements 
Evaluate, recommend, and administer employee training that improves performance
Stay up to date on legal and industry trends impacting HR and employees
Oversee administration of employee benefits programs
Manage unemployment claims
Work with peers across regions to ensure best practices 
Align priorities with shared organizational objectives 


HR Manager Background Profile:
Bachelor’s Degree required, Master's a plus 
Bilingual- English and Spanish required 
7+ years of related progressive experience 
Management experience required, at least 2-3 years preferred 
Minimum 5 years as an advanced user of HRIS software  
Willingness to travel
Proficient with MS Suite, particularly Excel
SHRM a plus 
Experience with Ceridian a plus 
Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, or heavily industrial organization preferred 
Detail-oriented across multiple tasks and projects in parallel
