Our client located near Las Colinas, TX has an immediate opening for a Benefits Coordinator / Benefits Specialist / Leave of A on a contract to hire basis.

Benefits Coordinator / Benefits Specialist / Leave of Absence  Role:
The Benefits Coordinator / Benefits Specialist / Leave of Absence  will support accounting and operations as well as property managers throughout the US in regard to benefits, FMLA and ACA. 
Process Team Member health insurance enrollments, status changes, terminations, COBRA and beneficiaries
Answer Team Member questions regarding benefits and coverage
Audit benefit deductions and reconcile benefit plan invoices
Process invoices for missed premium payments
Process leave requests including FMLA and ADA, and engage in the interactive process with Team Members
Enter 401k elections and update changes quarterly
Review and update 1095 data to ensure compliance under the ACA
Respond to Qualified Medical Support Orders
Build relationships with co-workers and team members in order to provide a high level of customer service and continually improve team member satisfaction
Providing support for special projects as requested
Ensuring that standards and procedures are being followed


Benefits Coordinator / Benefits Specialist / Leave of Absence  Background Profile:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Bilingual Spanish a plus
2+ years of experience as a Benefits Coordinator, Benefits Specialist or Benefits Administrator
Must be highly proficient in MS Office Suite and have the ability to learn new programs quickly 
Ability to comprehend and explain health, dental and vision plans including LTD, STD, COBRA, Cafeteria plans/Section 125 and various ancillary plans
Working knowledge of FMLA and ACA with the ability to assist employees
Must possess and utilize a strong attention to detail
Must provide excellent customer service to internal and external employees to build relationships and improve satisfaction
Adapt quickly and maintain confidentiality at all times
Excellent work ethic
