Our client in Houston, TX has an immediate need for an Assistant Property Manager on a direct hire basis.

Assistant Property Manager Role:
This Assistant Property Manager will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Board of Directors and ensuring the smooth implementation of all property management functions
Provide direct assistance to the Board in financial management, administration policies, procedures, and property infrastructure
Evaluate and enhance the quality of services offered to the Association
Maintain regular communication with the Board of Directors through personal meetings, telephone, and email to establish strong working relationships
Coordinate all Manager zoom meetings and assist with scheduling
Handle incoming calls from Board members and homeowners, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly
Support the Property Administrator during annual budget and election meetings
Learn and assist with the phone system as needed
Conduct periodic property visits to provide feedback and recommendations for improvement
Maintain and oversee all service, maintenance, and access control contracts
Assist in obtaining and maintaining necessary insurance coverage
Maintain confidentiality and ensure all records are accurately maintained
Deliver exceptional customer service, consistently meeting the needs of all stakeholders
Facilitate committee meetings and serve as a liaison to committee members
Act as an intermediary between residents, staff, and management to resolve issues promptly
Participate in an on-call rotation approximately 2-3 times per year

Assistant Property Manager Profile:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management or leasing highly preferred
Minimum 2 years working in an office setting 
Bachelor’s degree a plus
Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills
Professional demeanor with a tactful and polished approach
Energetic, flexible, and proactive, with a commitment to exceeding expectations
