Administrative Assistant – Accounting Assistant
Our uptown Dallas, TX client is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant – Accounting Assistant to join their small firm on a contract to possible hire basis.  They may consider direct hire based on professional background and experience.

Company Profile:
Boutique economics and consulting firm.
In business for over 30 years

Administrative Assistant – Accounting Assistant Role:
Perform data entry of monthly invoices into Timeslips, QuickBooks, and Excel.
Process accounts receivable into the related accounting software.
Assist accounts payable by preparing checks.
Support monthly client invoicing duties, tracking payments, cost-sharing, and other billing variances.
Help prepare for meetings and engagements, logging information into Access.
Close completed projects.
Manage team deadlines and track calendar alerts as needed.
Perform ongoing filing, mail, and document prep duties.
Arrange travel throughout the United States.
Ensure that the kitchen and office is stocked and remains organized.  
Offer a great first impression to guests/visitors to the office.
Serve as an active member of the administrative team, helping on a variety of projects.

Administrative Assistant – Accounting Assistant Background Profile:
High school diploma is requirement.  Some college is preferred.
Must have outstanding communication and organization skills.
Previous experience working with Timeslips and QuickBooks is preferred.
Strong MS Office skills are a must!
