Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist Role:
The Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist will play a crucial role in the finance team, the primary responsibilities involve managing the Accounts Payable function, including weekly AP runs, processing invoices, and overseeing company credit card accounting and expense reports. Additionally, you may handle Accounts Receivable processing, primarily focused on receipt management from our automated invoicing system.
Conduct weekly Accounts Payable runs, processing approximately 100 invoices per month.
Manage company credit card accounting, reconciling statements, and processing expense reports.
Handle Accounts Receivable processing, focusing on receipt management (70% credit cards, 30% ACH).
Maintain communication with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment and invoice inquiries.
Assist in month-end closing activities related to AP and AR.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
Support ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as needed.
Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
3+years of proven experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, vlookup, data manipulation).
Familiarity with accounting software, preferably NetSuite
Knowledge of automated invoicing systems and payment processing platforms.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and external contacts.
High degree of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
