Our client located in Dallas, TX has an immediate opening for a Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Manager on a Direct Hire basis.

Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Manager Role: 
The Accounts Receivable and Payables Manager will play a pivotal role in the Business office, managing essential administrative and accounting tasks. This position demands precision in maintaining accurate financial records, handling various transactions, and overseeing accounts receivables, payables, and cash. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Manager will take charge of all accounts receivable and payable functions for the College. The role includes managing the day-to-day receipt of payments, scheduling bill payments, and providing essential backup support when needed.
Generate invoices for Corporate Work Program partners and track payments.
Handle the accounting aspects of Student Billing.
Manage receivable collections and postings.
Collaborate with Financial Aid, Manager of Student Accounts, Payroll, and Staff Accountant.
Support the credit card process, including coding review and staff compliance oversight.
Reconcile POS transactions, PayPal accounts, and Square accounts.
Oversee all aspects of the accounts payable process.
Ensure a comprehensive understanding of the general ledger for proper coding.
Enhance internal approval and scheduling processes for payables.
Work with departments and Grant Administrator to ensure accurate expense coding and timely submission.
Reconcile all Amex and Credit Card expenses and statements.
Perform any other duties as assigned.

Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Manager Role: 
Bachelor of Science degree in accounting 
A minimum of 3-5 years of accounting and finance work experience.
Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment, meeting all required deadlines.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Experience establishing and modifying policies and procedures.
Must be a strategic thinking with a proactive approach and the ability to implement projects tactically.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including research, data analysis, and document composition.
Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Strong cross-functional capabilities, both leading and participating in teams to define issues, processes, strategies, and outcomes.
Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software
Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and other relevant business software.
Demonstrated experience in non-profit 501(c)(3) accounting is highly preferred. 
Prior experience in Higher Education or a similar setting.
