Accounts Payable Specialist Role:
The accounts payable specialist will post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
Enter invoices in an accurately and timely manner
Verify invoices against purchase orders and ensure goods or services were received before issuing payment to vendors
Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amounts and coding per accounting policies and procedures
File, maintain, and distribute accounting documents, records, and reports.
Ensure payments are distributed internally or mailed accordingly.
Respond to all vendor inquiries via phone or email as well as maintain internal and external relationships with vendors and employees and assist them in solving AP issues.
Accounts Payable Specialist Background Profile:
High school diploma
Minimum of 2 years working in Accounts Payable
QuickBooks experience is required
Must be proficient in Excel
Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
Bilingual is a plus, but not required
