Job Description
Our busy client located in Winter Park, FL has an immediate need for someone in accounts payable on a contract to possible hire basis. This position will start immediately.

Accounts Payable Role:
Responsible for daily processing of accounts payable and assisting the controller with daily accounting functions.
Collecting and recording daily deposits.
Maintaining and controlling petty cash funds.
Preparing General Cashier daily reports.
Preparing the General Cashier’s Daily Receipts Sheet.
Providing Front Office and Food & Beverage associates with required change.
Reimbursing Front Office cashiers for disbursements.
Coordinating money transfers with Accounts Payable and Home Office.
Inventorying all hotel banks a minimum of 2 times per month.
Ensuring all monies are banked/deposited daily.
Disbursing approved petty cash requests.
Collecting and distributing daily incoming mail.
Preparing daily bank deposits of all checks and cash.
Generating and following up on a daily basis a list of all overages and shortages.
Reviewing Accounts Payable invoices for accuracy, coding, and timeliness.
Converting purchasing requisitions for payment.
Undertaking any other duties as directed by the Accounting Manager/Controller.
Accounts Payable Background Profile:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum of 1 year experience in accounting and preferably accounts payable.
Understanding of accounts payable practices.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; including Microsoft Word, Teams, and Excel.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities with a high attention to detail.
