Accounts Payable Clerk Role:
The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
Code Indirect invoices and scan and send them to the Accounts Payable department for processing.
Enter Direct invoices into Deltek Vantagepoint and ensure approval is assigned to the correct Project Manager.
Set up accounts in the Vendor Portal online.
Maintain professional relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure smooth communication and operations.
Reconcile vendor accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
Organize and maintain AP files and invoices for easy retrieval.
Ensure that all payment records and documents are properly filed and stored.
Address any questions or concerns raised by vendors regarding invoices and payments.
Work closely with the Corporate AP team to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payments.
Ensure that payments to vendors are processed in a timely manner to maintain good vendor relationships and prevent any disruptions.
Accounts Payable Clerk Background Profile:
Strong multitasking abilities to manage various responsibilities efficiently.
Excellent communication skills for interaction with vendors and team members.
Highly detail-oriented with the ability to spot discrepancies and ensure accuracy in all work.
Prior experience in Accounts Payable or related financial fields.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus but not required.
Strong 10-key typing skills for efficient data entry.
