Job Description
Our client based in Coral Springs, Florida is in need of an Accounting Specialist. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Accounting Specialist Role:
The Accounting Specialist is responsible processing accounting and financial transactions, such as incoming payments, cash transactions, and billing.
Process Accounts Payable by receiving, verifying, approving, and settling. invoices from vendors or suppliers in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
Ensure the accuracy of invoice amounts and communicate with vendors.
Manage accounts receivables, invoicing, posting and reconciling payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures as well as contact clients regarding outstanding balances.
Reconcile vendor statements.
Other administrative projects as assigned by management.
File sales tax for the states of Florida and California
Accounting Specialist Background Profile:
A college degree is preferred but not required
Looking for a minimum of 1-year experience working in accounts payable and accounts receivable
Solid understanding of accounting principles
State Tax filing experience is a plus
Data entry skills
Desire and ability to learn
Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Job Requirements
