Seeking a detail oriented and strategic Accounting Manager to serve as the financial backbone of a thriving restaurant and specialty foods retail operations in Palm Beach County, FL.

Accounting Manager:
This is a critical leadership position that combines hands on financial management with strategic oversight, perfect for a professional who excels in fast paced hospitality and retail environments.
Summarize and maintain comprehensive financial information including P&L statements, Balance Sheets, and detailed financial analysis
Prepare financial reports, projections, and ad-hoc management reports that drive strategic decision making
Monitor and analyze cash flow operations with direct responsibility for Accounts Payable management
Review and strengthen internal controls to ensure financial integrity and operational efficiency
Navigate complex regulatory requirements specific to food service and retail operations
Manage financial aspects of multi unit restaurant and retail operations
Handle specialized F&B financial processes including delivery service payment reconciliation and outlet performance analysis
Oversee office administration and maintain organized, efficient accounting filing systems
Manage contract administration and lease agreement oversight
Lead risk management initiatives including workers compensation administration and insurance coordination
Prepare and review tax filings while ensuring compliance with changing state and federal regulations
Utilize advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, and ADP for streamlined operations
Maintain and update financial systems and processes for optimal efficiency
Prepare and distribute automated reports and financial summaries
Prepare and distribute critical sales reports
Process and post sales data
Monitor bank balances, ACH transactions, and check processing
Generate comprehensive sales summaries for all outlets
Manage payment processing and transfers
Prepare detailed P&L reports for individual units and executive summaries for ownership
Execute strategic accounts payable selections and secure payment processing
Oversee complete payroll operations including management payroll and journal entries
Prepare and distribute comprehensive payroll reporting
Handle specialized billing including house charge statements and state sales tax submissions
Manage annual insurance renewals across multiple coverage areas
Coordinate external audits including 401K, General Liability, and Workers Compensation
Maintain accurate fixed asset records and prepare comprehensive tax documentation
Accounting Manager Background Profile:
Bachelors Degree in accounting or finance
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting in the restaurant or retail industry
CPA is preferred
Proven experience in restaurant and retail financial operations with deep understanding of industry specific regulations
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, and ADP systems
Strong background in multi-location financial management and reporting
Experience with tax preparation, audit coordination, and regulatory compliance
