Accounting Manager
Our company is currently seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Accounting Manager to serve as the financial backbone of our thriving restaurant and specialty foods retail operations in Palm Beach County, FL.

Responsibilities:
- Summarize and maintain comprehensive financial information including P&L statements, Balance Sheets, and detailed financial analysis
- Prepare financial reports, projections, and ad-hoc management reports that drive strategic decision making
- Monitor and analyze cash flow operations with direct responsibility for Accounts Payable management
- Review and strengthen internal controls to ensure financial integrity and operational efficiency
- Navigate complex regulatory requirements specific to food service and retail operations
- Manage financial aspects of multi-unit restaurant and retail operations
- Handle specialized F&B financial processes including delivery service payment reconciliation and outlet performance analysis
- Oversee office administration and maintain organized, efficient accounting filing systems
- Manage contract administration and lease agreement oversight
- Lead risk management initiatives including workers compensation administration and insurance coordination
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting in the restaurant or retail industry
- CPA is preferred
- Proven experience in restaurant and retail financial operations with deep understanding of industry-specific regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, and ADP systems
- Strong background in multi-location financial management and reporting
- Experience with tax preparation, audit coordination, and regulatory compliance

The later certification was in collaboration with the Western Association of Food Chains. And, he has received numerous awards and accolades for customer service and leadership.
Mike has a passion for community service, having served as a board member for the Bear Creek Specialty Utility District (formerly Lavon Water Supply Corporation) from 2007-2013; Community Independent School District board trustee from 2013-2017; and currently serves as Lavon City Councilman, Place 2 since 2017.
