Accounting Manager Role:
Responsible for managing accounting operations including general ledger, cost accounting, inventory cycle count, A/P, A/R, and revenue recognition
Manage the preparation of the monthly budget, forecast, and variance analysis
Responsible for the monthly financial statement preparation
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
Research technical accounting issues for compliance
Manage the month-end and year-end close process
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
Ensure that all processes and accounting policies are maintained in order to strengthen internal controls
Responsible for preparing special reports and projects
Accounting Manager Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
8+ years of experience in a combination of accounting and finance
Manufacturing experience is required
CPA is preferred
Experience working in a public company preferred
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
