Job Description

Controller Role:
- Lead and oversee all accounting and financial operations
- Ensure timely and accurate financial statement production with insightful commentary
- Develop and implement controls, budgets, and forecast models to mitigate risks
- Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership
- Supervise the accounting team and manage audit processes
- Coordinate with external advisors to support financial health
- Manage cash flow forecasting and monitoring
- Oversee tax planning and preparation
- Approve monthly closeout and journal entries
- Lead profit improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal controls, and corporate policies
- Support analytical, planning, and cost control initiatives
Controller Background Profile:
- CPA certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required, advanced degree preferred
- At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Minimum of 3 years in a management role leading accounting/finance teams
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, audit processes, and internal controls
- Proficiency in Sage Intacct is a plus
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
