Job Description
Position: Controller
We are in search of a determined and experienced Controller to take charge of financial operations for our rapidly expanding client located in Antioch, TN. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in distribution and expert knowledge of NetSuite ERP.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise all accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Commissions
- Manage bank reconciliations, daily cash management, and cash flow forecasting
- Ensure precise inventory and COGS reporting, incorporating landed cost and freight allocations
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes for accurate and timely financial statements
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to guide business decisions
- Enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with external CPA, tax advisors, and lenders for compliance and accurate reporting
- Produce management reports on profitability, margins, and key performance indicators
- Administer financial processes within NetSuite ERP to ensure data precision and efficiency
- Support tax filings, insurance renewals, and other compliance needs
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CMA certification (preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, particularly in distribution or related sectors
- Proficiency in NetSuite ERP (required)
- Demonstrated success in managing cash flow, financial reporting, and month-end close in a multi-entity environment
- Familiarity with inventory accounting, cost accounting, and margin analysis
- Detail-oriented with strong ownership and organizational skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment emphasizing accountability and teamwork
