Accounting Assistant
Our client in Nashville, Tennessee has an immediate need for a an Accounting Assistant on a contract to possible hire basis.

Accounting Assistant Role:
Main responsibility entails posting payments to Carmack
Fill out title paperwork after purchase
Receive and enter invoices for units with established stock numbers then post payment
Manage the Stock Log by entering VIN numbers to the system with the stock number
Respond to customers’ questions and requests (e.g., price information) promptly in person, over the phone, and possibly via email
Process credits, special orders, drop-ships, re-routing delivery days, will calls, etc.
Respond to price information queries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Receive cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers
Record the amount received based on the purchase
Makes changes accurately and issues receipts to customers
Add credit card slips to balance to batch totals
Communicate any discrepancies
Check with Management at the end of each shift before leaving to make sure they do not need anything additional
Perform any other special duties as requested by your Managers
Accounting Assistant Profile:
High School Diploma or equivalent
1+ years of accounts receivable experience
Experience with posting payments, cost accounting, accruals, and deal organizing
Titling experience or notary is a plus but not required
Must have experience working in MS Office
Must be proficient in excel
Strong Microsoft Suite skills
Steady work history
Excellent oral communication skills
