Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal Role
This Personal Injury paralegal position will work for the Department Attorneys and the Case Managers assigned to specific cases.
Calendar, track, and meet all discovery and case management deadlines
Prepare attorneys for hearings, depositions and trial
Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, witness files, and identifying relevant information
Manage litigation docket cases from filing until settlement or trial
Generate and track case status reports
Respond timely to client inquiries and requests for status
Draft discovery responses
Prepare case management orders and non-substantive motions
Obtain, review, and analyze discovery documents, including medical records and financial records, tax and employment records, or any other relevant information to support clients’ claims
Coordinate with support services, clients, opposing law firms, and courts
Coordinate and track the exchange of documents between the firm and experts
Schedule hearings and depositions
Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal Background Profile
3+ years’ experience in plaintiff’s personal injury litigation
Above average proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
Strong analytical skills and ability to write well
Strong time management and organizational skills
Candidate must be able to work independently as well as on a team
Candidate must like to work and have a great attitude
Personal Injury Law Firm Features and Benefits
Work schedule is 5 days per week in office, but Firm can be flexible
Litigation Paralegal is paid on an hourly basis
Quarterly bonus structure
Full-time, direct hire-position
