Associate Insurance Defense Attorney
We are looking to hire an experienced Associate Insurance Defense for our client located in Phoenix, AZ on a direct hire basis.

Associate Insurance Defense Attorney Role:
As an Associate Insurance Defense Attorney, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of cases related to insurance coverage litigation.
Handle files in a wide variety of areas including automobile, liability, trucking accidents, defamation or slander, liquor, liability, premises liability, employment law, insurance agent defense, HOA claims, and sundry other areas.
Manage a caseload of first-party and third-party coverage insurance cases.
Draft coverage opinions and provide legal advice to clients.
Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to provide comprehensive legal services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date with changes in insurance laws and regulations.
Associate Insurance Defense Attorney Background Profile:
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in the state of Arizona
3+ years of experience in insurance coverage litigation, with a focus on first-party and third-party cases
Strong knowledge of insurance policies and coverage issues
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Experience drafting coverage opinions and handling litigation from start to finish
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet tight deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with judgment lawsuits is a plus
Expected to bill a minimum of 2,000 hours a year.
