Operations Manager Role:
The Operations Manager provides business management on behalf of the company’ s owners/operators, effectively communicates all business information as well as will be responsible for the financial well-being and growth of the company while facilitating a positive and motivated work environment.
Facilitate office operations as well as efficiency, productivity and accuracy of work.
Ensures customer orders are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Train, coach and develops the team to optimize performance, customer service skills and employee engagement.
Facilitates the sales of commercial air filters, build rapport with vendors and customers.
Provide effective and consistent communication to drive business objectives.
Assist all levels of the organization to coordinate and ensure operational effectiveness within all areas of business.
ensures proper record keeping and effective billing practices.
ensures standard operating procedures are followed and identifies inconsistencies to proactively address any areas of concern.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.
Manage and maintain lean warehouse operations, coordinates shipping and deliveries in the most efficient and cost-effective manner as well as oversee and provide dispatch work.
Identify potential business opportunities for the organization and capitalizes on them.
Comply with all state and federal regulations.
Operations Manager Background Profile:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
4+ years of experience as an operations manager or hands on office management in a small business environment
Advanced knowledge of business management, accounting, customer service and cash flow are strongly desired.
Knowledge of operations, sales, logistics and team management is required.
Must have a valid driver’ s license in good standing.
Strong sales / customer service skills are preferred.
Prefers an entrepreneurial / business oriented mindset.
Ability to train, coach and develop employees strongly preferred.
Experience with logistics, efficiencies, and continuous improvement are strongly desired.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are desired.
Strong customer service and relationship building skills are desired.
Must be able to plan, direct and coordinate business and employees.
