Our growing, busy insurance client located in Plano, TX has an immediate need for an Insurance Account Manager on a Direct Hire basis.

Insurance Account Manager Role:
The Insurance Account Manager will be responsible for processing new sales and renewals as well as perform critical support duties. The successful candidate will develop sales proposals and renewals for agents, will respond to internal and external requests for information and prepare important documents and policy information. 
Management of ongoing client service relationships
Maintain open and clear communication with clients, producers, carriers/vendors and other team members
Communicate due dates, timelines and expectation to clients and partners
Identify problems, summarize and develop strategic solutions
Install new insurance policies for existing clients or new clients effectively utilizing resources to match client needs
Administer renewals including preparing appropriate contractual changes
Prepare summary reports for clients
Inform clients of ERISA, COBRA, FMLA compliance measures
Develop employee memorandum drafts for client to communicate the following; annual renewal changes, enrollment procedures, miscellaneous benefit changes and/or clarifications
Develop and maintain excellent carrier relationships
Scan and maintain digital files
Update client and prospect database and contact management systems

Insurance Account Manager Background Profile:
Minimum 2 years prior group insurance experience
College degree or industry specific designation preferred
Must currently hold P&C license or must obtain it within 3 months following date of employment as well as retain license by meeting the continuing education requirements.
Currently holding a Life & Health license is a plus but not required
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Strong attention to detail and ability to self-check work
Excellent time management skills, task oriented, excellent organizational skills as well as the ability to prioritize work load
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word
Prior customer service experience is preferred
