HR Coordinator Role:
Provides general hiring/administrative support to all assigned Employment Teams to ensure accurate, timely and consistent processing of external and internal applicants for active positions.
Inputs and maintains accurate timely tracking detail on all candidates into the Applicant Tracking System.
Partners with assigned Recruiter to implement scheduling needs for Employment events.
Ensures that all jobs are posted accurately and in a timely manner.
Responsible for overseeing and executing the background process for each candidate.
Responsible for scheduling interviews, creating interview packets, providing candidates with all necessary interview information (application, directions, etc.), scheduling candidate travel and conducting testing, when applicable.
Reviews all applicant paperwork for completeness and accuracy.
Coordinates pre-employment requirements with applicants and local Employment Specialist, if applicable.
Maintains ongoing communication with applicants and assigned Recruiter during pre-employment period.
Willingness and ability to take on special projects as requested by Leader.
Works the Lobby and front desk when required.
Confirms and coordinates class availability dates with Customer groups and Class Coordinator, if applicable.
Responsible for ensuring filing cabinets are in order and up to date; will annually box up files to be sent for storage.
Extends job offers to cleared applicants as assigned.
Compiles data and generates reports as required.
Provides backup support to other Coordinators as needed.
Attends and effectively engages in networking events.
Responsible for organizing, coordinating and participating in recruiting events.
Promotes the Department and nurtures relationships with internal Customers.

HR Coordinator Background Profile:
High School Diploma or the equivalent
College degree preferred
Minimum 1 year administrative experience, preferably in an HR Department
Proven track record of being able to multi-task and function strongly in a fast-paced environment
Strong administrative and organizational skills.
Must have exceptional attention to detail.
Strong problem solving skills.
Must demonstrate a Customer Service mentality.
Ability to learn how to prioritize work appropriately.
Working knowledge of accepted employment practices.
Ability to effectively communicate information to Teammates, internal Customers and prospective Employees both over the telephone and face-to-face in a timely manner.
Must be adaptable and open to change.
Ability to learn computerized Applicant Tracking System and understand the flow of information between applicable Company databases.
Ability to learn and utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Company e-mail system and operate within these systems at a level I proficiency.
Ability to learn and utilize Employee identification equipment, fingerprint equipment and administer new Employee documentation.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality for all issues related to Employees and Applicants.
Ability to learn the company interview process.
Effective relationship building skills.
Ability to communicate with diverse audiences in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Flourishes in Team environment  - works with others as part of a Team as well as inspire Teamwork.
Will be constantly required to write/type for long periods of time.
Will be constantly required to talk on the phone.
