Business Development Representative    
Our client in The Woodlands, TX is seeking an Business Development Representative to join their team on a Direct Hire basis.

Your Role:
The Business Development Representative will be calling on fuel companies to set up meetings and presentations
Will meet and exceed quotas and targets and take ownership of the sales cycle from prospecting through appointment
Assess market opportunities and penetrate new accounts
Will call companies from a provided list
Follow a sales script
Will set appointments for clsoers
Will be making both warm and cold outbound calls
Responsible for identifing the decision maker
Will give value proposition, qualify prospect and set appointment
Engage with decision makers and build a pipeline to promote the company' s products and services
Drive primary businesses nationwide with cold calls, campaigns, online meetings, and attending industry conferences when needed
Conduct presentations and on-line demos to prospects/customers on a regular basis
Input all information in SalesForce
Will be hunting for new sales at all times

Background Profile:
Seeking an experienced Sales person or appointment setter who thrives in a competitive, performance-based, and fast-paced atmosphere
1-2 years of direct sales experience, preferably selling SaaS solutions, merchant services or pharmaceutical sales
Experience giving online presentations is preferred
Must have a sales hunter mentality and experience
Although leads will be provided, the person that is right for this job will be capable of developing their own leads when needed
Must have training and experience on how to overcome objections
Previous experience making a large amount of outbound cold and warm calls
Degree preferred 
Strong closing skills
Candidates who have had sales training, read sales books, listen to sales podcasts, etc. will likely be a good fit for this role
Experience utilizing SalesForce or other closely related software is required
Proficient in MS Office including PowerPoint presentations
Consistent goal achievement and the ability to influence decision makers
