Our client in Phoenix, Arizona has an immediate need for a Vice President of Operations on a direct hire basis

Vice President of Operations Role:
The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for providing strategic direction and comprehensive oversight
Manage the financial performance and operational efficiency of properties to maximize revenue and enhance overall performance.
Conduct financial forecasting and budget development to achieve specific owner goals, ensuring alignment with the companys strategic objectives.
Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing team of asset managers, creating growth and development plans.
Facilitate weekly meetings with asset managers to address challenges and support problem resolution.
Promote a positive and inclusive work environment to maintain high employee morale and motivation.
Provide strategic leadership to align team efforts with company objectives and values.
Contribute to the establishment of a robust company infrastructure that supports growth.
Review and update company policies to ensure consistency and adherence to core values.
Monitor policy compliance and standardization, ensuring timely follow-ups.
Conduct critical assessments to identify performance indicators that require corrective action, including mentoring, training, or disciplinary measures.
Follow up with asset managers to ensure effective implementation of corrective actions.
Ensure properties meet or exceed key performance indicators
Provide insights during the pre-acquisition phase and assist in the due diligence process, including a review of financial and operational assumptions.
Support post-acquisition activities to ensure successful integration of assets into the company portfolio.
Engage in new acquisitions and business development by providing analyses, pro forma evaluations, marketing assessments, and staffing and capital planning insights.
Monitor and drive growth
Lead our public excellence initiative to uphold and promote the brand.
Ensure operational practices reflect these values and cultivate a culture of accountability and excellence.
Leverage technology to enhance operational efficiency and improve the resident experience.
Stay informed on industry trends and technological advancements relevant to property management.
Recruit and select personnel for all operational functions under supervision, ensuring alignment with company culture and values.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Drive continuous improvement by standardizing processes and practices, holding teams accountable.
Foster development and growth by creating opportunities for skill enhancement, career advancement, and mentorship across the team.

Vice President of Operations Profile:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management role preferably within a service-based industry, such as hospitality
Proven track record in overseeing financial and operational performance, managing budgets, and leading high-performing teams.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Financial expertise, including experience in financial forecasting, budget management, and analysis a plus
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across various disciplines, such as construction, IT, and accounting.
Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills, with a capacity to inspire and develop team members.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Adaptable to changing environments and skilled in managing competing priorities and problem-solving effectively.
Willingness to travel as needed
