Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identify and cultivate leads within your assigned territory or vertical markets.
Utilize advanced sales forecasting and pipeline tool to communicate territory development.
Conduct face-to-face presentations to engage potential customers.
Collaborate with the Operations team to demonstrate our core technology resources.
Develop and oversee independent contractor consultants for introductions to prospects.
Present energy savings proposals to customer decision-makers and secure commitments.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to provide valuable customer and market feedback.
Maintain transparent communication with management through timely reporting and responsiveness.
Showcase a consistent track record of exceeding sales quotas.
Maintain effective communication with assigned consultants.
Conduct client follow-up meetings to ensure retention.
Requires 80% travel within the territory.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, including PowerPoint.
Self-motivated with strong sales and negotiation skills.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent customer service, written, and verbal communication skills.
Proven track record in managing customer relationships and surpassing sales quotas.
High energy and the ability to connect with all organizational levels.
Ability to effectively promote ideas internally and externally.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field is required.
MBA highly preferred, but not required.
Minimum of 8 years of B2B sales experience required.
Service sales experience required.
Prior sales presentation experience to Executive Leadership is required.
Experience in the energy and or energy technology sector highly preferred.
