Job Description
Our global client with a headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas is adding a Regional Sales Manager for the State of California. Will travel to California an average of two to three times a month.

Regional Sales Manager Role:
The Regional Sales Manager over the State of California will build connections with local governments and municipalities interested in investing in renewable energy, specifically solar lighting.
Manage both existing sales pipelines and develop new business opportunities.
Create proposals and presentations in pursuit of new opportunities.
Regional Sales Manager will focus on developing successful relationships with clients, staff, municipal authorities, partners, vendors, and contractors.
Stay on top of industry trends and customer drivers.
Schedule regular meetings with leadership to discuss strategy.
Manage the sales channel and develop direct key business.
Responsible for leading projects
Regional Sales Manager acts as point person for communications and organization, connecting our clients with our technical staff.
Consistently identify, develop, and close project opportunities.
Maintain the SalesForce with client information for forecasting, collaboration, and reporting.
Present product capabilities and benefits using PowerPoint.
Regional Sales Manager will explore new go-to-market strategies.
Become a SME on solar lighting and use this information for analysis and proposals.
Meet with prospects, clients, and partners in the field.
Regional Sales Manager Background Profile:
Must have Associates Degree, Bachelors is preferred
Successful track record in B2B Sales managing a territory or region
Must have Face to Face sales experience
Flexibility to travel an average of 50% of the time, sometimes 75%
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong listening and sales skills.
Ability to achieve targets.
Willingness to Travel for both work and training.
