Great opportunity for a Project Manager on a direct hire basis for our successful client in Plano, TX.

Project Manager Role:
The Project Manager is responsible for all project management functions associated with HVAC construction projects and associated CapEx process. This includes quotations, project management, administrative and technical support.
Plan, organize, and direct activities for the construction projects related to HVAC expansion
Initiate and maintain CapEx process for assigned projects
Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
Direct and supervise subcontractors
Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are issued as required
Track and monitor project milestones and expenses to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Consistently communicate with suppliers and key contacts to avoid major delays or unexpected expenses
Ensure compliance with building and safety codes/regulations are met
Identify and communicate revisions, changes and additions with consultants, clients, administrative staff, suppliers, and/or subcontractors.
Prepare budgets and closely track/monitor expenses
Take actions to avoid delays and setbacks
Work with laboratory staff to plan projects, to determine where and how projects can best be completed with the least disruption to clients
Project Management functions will involve directing and monitoring all end-to-end aspects of project planning and design, including scope management.
Compile data and reports, maintain project folders and files in accordance with Quality System requirements.
Project Manager Background Profile:
Bachelor’ s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Finance.
Previous project management experience required
Knowledge of project management best practices preferred
Excellent communication skills, in verbal, written and presentation formats
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Must be detail oriented
Ability to work irregular hours due to time zone differences
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities
Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to travel as business needs dictate
