Project Manager Role:
The Project Manager is responsible for assisting the program manager with all aspects of new product development.
Coordinates with all stakeholders in the products under development (product management, engineering, manufacturing, customer support) as product moves through all phases from concept to production.
Monitors project schedule and cost by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements
Identifies and recommends solutions to problems that may impact project cost, schedule or product specific objectives
Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems
Assists Sr Program Manager in reviewing project costs
Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions
Recommend and implement changes to engineering procedures and processes that will improve quality or efficiency of project execution
Maintains safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Assists in creating PMR slides for upcoming PMRs & tracks Cost Status Reports
Project Manager Background Profile:
Bachelor’s Degree
4+ years of Project and Team Management; Process Improvement; Strong personal project
management skills
Active security clearance preferred, or ability to obtain a clearance
PMP preferred
Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
