Production Coordinator
Job Description
Our client located south of Houston near Galveston, TX has an immediate need for a Production Coordinator, this is a direct hire opportunity. This is a 9/80 work schedule, every other Friday off.

Production Coordinator role:
Production Coordinator will assist the Operations Director to set a build schedule that meets customer requirements.
Work closely with the supply chain group to ensure that parts are delivered on time to meet the build schedule.
If there is a shortage that will affect the planned build schedule, the Coordinator will notify both Managers.
Production Coordinator inspects job tickets for accuracy and deviation waivers to ensure that proper parts are being utilized on affected units, and resolve non-conforming parts.
Coordinators are responsibile for monitoring finished goods to ensure time and accurate job post, run inventory status reports to ensure accuracy.
Production Coordinator will maintain workflow by monitoring process steps, setting processing variables, observing control points and equipment.
Maintain quality customer service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.
Production Coordinator should provide manufacturing information by compiling, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data.
Work closely with freight forwarders to plan and schedule deliveries of goods across the globe.
Participate in and take notes on weekly production meetings.
Production Coordinator Background Profile:
High School diploma
2 years experience in project management, planning and/or purchasing in a supporting role
Supply chain experience is a plus
Tech savvy
Comfortable speaking with vendors, clients, and various company departments
Familarity with MS Word, MS-Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
Strong time management skills
