Master Scheduler Role:
PRIMARY FUNCTION
This professional will prepare, develop, and coordinate the corporate and program integrated master plan while meeting Master Schedule objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that major projects and program schedules and plans are integrated across multiple company functional groups including finance; engineering; material; manufacturing; and quality
Develop project schedules to support the design and procurement of materials to ensure that projects are developed and delivered effectively to all team members
Tracks plans and schedules; performs risk analysis; identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts
Develop integrated master schedules to track / maintain schedules and identify/resolve critical path issues and network logic conflicts which performs schedule analysis in support of assigned programs or projects
Development and maintenance of Integrated Master Schedules that are government compliant corporate standards and demonstrate cost and schedule integration
The weekly and monthly business rhythms will require communication (electronically and verbally) of schedule status including but not limited to, results of critical path analysis, schedule risk analysis (SRA), schedule variance analysis and the results of ‘what if’ exercises to the Program Manager, the customer and potentially to senior management
Background Profile:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field 8+ years relevant experience, potentially non-degreed with more years of experience with the right industry experience
Ideal professional experience includes support in Accounting, Finance, Project or Program Management with Planning & Scheduling, preferably in aerospace/defense environment
Experience working within integrated ERP software applications and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) with advanced Excel skills
Excellent communication both verbal and written with strong presentation skills
