Our busy and growing law firm in Houston, Texas has multiple associate litigation attorneys roles they would like to fill on a direct hire basis.

Litigation Associate Attorney Role:
The Litigation Associate Attorney will have at least 3 years of commercial and/or civil litigation defense experience.
Conduct legal research and provide legal analysis on various issues related to premises liability, trucking defense, and/or insurance defense matters.
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials.
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Participate in case strategy discussions and negotiations.
Manage case files and maintain accurate and organized records.
Attend continuing legal education courses to stay current on legal developments in related practice areas.
Litigation Associate Attorney Profile:
Candidate must have 3+ years of civil or commercial litigation defense experience.
Must be in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
Ability to provide writing samples.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize changing workloads.
Candidates with prior experience attending trial as 1st or 2nd chair are highly encouraged to apply.
